Wildberries tests order cancellation against accidental purchases

MOSCOW, Dec 28 (PRIME) -- Russian marketplace Wildberries has started testing cancelation of an order to protect users from accidental purchases, a company representative told PRIME on Thursday.

“Wildberries clients can cancel the purchase immediately after ordering – it will help if the buyer accidentally placed the order, chose the wrong address or more items than intended. The option will be launched in January,” the representative said.

“At the first stage, it will be available to the clients buying goods with post payment – Wildberries has 80% of them. Later on, the option to cancel the purchase by clicking a button will become available for all buyers,” the representative added.

The option to cancel delivery will be available during the first hour after making the order or till the seller starts assembling the order – it depends on which occurs first.
